As Promised

 Cabinet

Here is the finished cabinet.  It was done last week but I've been feeling a little under the weather and didn't have the enthusiasm to post anything.

 Glass Knob

I love this cabinet.  All the orginal hardware is in great shape and shines so nicely.  We painted the inside a pale pink called "confection" and the white is "glass of milk".  Cake and milk, two of my favorite things!

 Latch

There is even a towel bar on the back!

Towel Bar

It is finally supposed to snow this weekend and Scott and I both have off.  I am so excited and have been thinking of warm things to cook.  Maybe some lentil stew with sausage, and peach cobbler, and beef potroast with potatoes.  These all seem to be condusive to knitting weather, and I do have quite a bit of that to get done.  I can't wait.

The cabinet looks great.... daddy Olson is wondering how the repaired drawer front painted up? Glad to hear you're feeling better... I was wondering why you weren't posting.

Love, mamma (& daddy too)

So, were those Martha Stewart colors? They always have fabulous names like that. I think I remember "glass of milk" actually. My kitchen is painted in "cupcake"!

Rebekka- Those are Martha Stewart colors. The names of the paint usually gets me even more so than the actual colors. They evoke such strong emotions. I have so many of the color chips I can't decide what color and where I want to paint next!

I'm impressed. You have really come into your own. The mechanical part must be genetic because I don't remember ever trying to teach it to you. You have done well sweety.
